How to buy Digital Files from Etsy and Download them Immediately

1. First things first. Go to http://etsy.com and log into your Etsy Account. Don’t worry if you don’t have an account. At this point, you can either create an account or checkout as a guest.
2. After finding a design of your choice, add the item to your cart. 
3. You will be brought to your cart and you will be brought to check out. At this point, be sure to add any coupons from that shop by clicking under the listing on “Apply shop coupon codes”. Please note that you can only include one coupon per transaction (including shop sales discounts), so be sure to include the coupon code that will give you the best value. 
4. Under “How To Pay”, Select your payment method. You may choose from Card Payment, Paypal, or Klarna. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
5. The next page will ask you to “Choose a shipping address”. Since you are purchasing a digital item, no items will be shipped for you, but Etsy will confirm your address with you. Add your address, or choose your default address and click “Ship Here”
6. Choose a Payment Method: Go ahead and enter your payment information. 
7. You will now be asked to Double Check your Order - Go ahead and click “Place Your Order” to be able to download your newly purchased files. 
8. You will now be brought to a Thank You Page where you will see details about your purchase including your order number, ability to review your receipt, and view your downloads. To be able to download your files immediately, click the button that says “View Files”.
9. You will now see a popup with all the information about this order. Please see below all the file types that are available to you with that purchase with a “Download” button to the right. Click “Download” to download your files. 

How to View and Download Files From Your Purchase History

1. After logging into your account on Etsy.com, find your user profile on the top right corner, and click your profile picture. A drop down menu will appear. Click on “Purchase” or “Purchase and Reviews”. You will be brought to a new page with all of your recent orders. 
2. Scroll down to your recent purchase and click the black “Download” button. 
   
3. You will be brought to your purchase download page. You will now be able to use any and all file types available to you. (Note that you can see what the file type is by the tail of the file title. Ex. A file called, “image123.png” is a PNG file.)

How to View and Download Files From Your Email 

1. Etsy will also send you an email receipt for your digital purchase. If you do not have an Etsy account, this is how you will also be able to access your files at any time. (So be sure to save this email.)
2. Go ahead and log into your email account that is linked to your etsy account or the email you submitted at checkout. You will find an email from Etsy Transactions titled “Download Your Etsy Purchase from (shop name)”.
3. This is your order purchase receipt. Scroll down to find the black button that says “View Your Files on Etsy”. This will link you to your purchase download page. 
   
4. You will now be able to use any and all file types available to you. (Note that you can see what the file type is by the tail of the file title. Ex. A file called, “image123.png” is a PNG file.) You can download these files as many times and at any time you would like.
